The production of Erbaluce wine is the strong point of CellaGrande. The warm and amber colors of his grapes immediately won us over and pushed us to undertake a process of enhancement of this indigenous grape variety with incredible flexibility, little known in Italian wine making.
Through a selection of the grapes, a containment of the yields and a fermentation at controlled temperatures, we are able to guarantee high quality wines ranging from the Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, to the long Charmat method, from the Passito, to the Classic Method, of which we preserve 60 thousand bottles from 2004 to present. A precious reserve for CellaGrande and for this territory.
Our winery, home to a former Benedictine convent from the 12th century, has recently been renovated and equipped with new winemaking equipment, an ideal place for food and wine tours with expert sommeliers or simply to sip a glass of wine in good company.
