FINE ARTISANAL FLAVORS SINCE 1946:

Tradition, experience and research of the latest technologies. For over 70 years, we have been on hand to offer our customers the finest food products of our region.

WINE ARTISANS SINCE 1946

Each finished product is made using artisanal processes, selecting fresh raw materials and meeting high quality standards according to rigorous methods handed down from generation to generation. The wines we make are Erbaluce di Caluso Docg and, since 2020, the Carema Doc wine (2017 vintage) made from Picutener Nebbiolo grape variety from the mountain areas of the eponymous village on the border between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta.

Our Winery, built inside a former 13th-century Benedictine monastery, was recently renovated and equipped with new state-of-the-art winemaking equipment; this is why we believe it can be an ideal place for wine tours by wine experts or simply for those who, for passion or tourism, decide to sip a glass of good wine in happy company.

Our wine expert!

A valuable asset, the fruit of our region. 2020: the last year of a noble makeover, thanks to the work of wine expert Donato Lanati and his skills, our wines reached the highest peak of appreciation. It is a new identity that wishes to amaze all five senses: from the expansion of flavours to taste, to the graphic revolution in both the bottle and the label, a packaging designed to captivate the eye.

INNOVATION, TRADITION, EXPERIENCE

Ours is a family of farmers who are passionate about this wonderful craft. Day after day, we study how to improve the breeding systems and efficiency of our production, without, of course, distorting its genuineness. An example? Hay feeding for grazing animals and total care in all stages of the winemaking process: from harvesting to aging, from winemaking to bottling.

Year 1946: The year in which the history of our winery began, thanks to Gino and Clelia Bagnod who kicked off this extraordinary adventure in the heart of Canavese by descending the valley wearing sabots on their feet.

Many people do not know this, but Carema was one of the first Italian DOC wines, launched in 1967 and declined in the following years due to a major reduction in the hectare available. Our winery is the main protagonist of its rebirth: passion and winemaking skills to be able to bring back a true icon of our region to success.
